Mauka Morning is 100% Kona Mountain Grown Estate Gourmet Coffee.
Kona coffee may only be farmed within specific regions of the Big Island as well as precise elevations and his sundried naturally under the Hawaiian sun.
“Estate” coffee means that all of the beans in the bag are 100% Kona beans and that they all came from the same farm.
Our beans are tended to, and picked by hand when perfectly ready and naturally sun dried.
Mauka Morning beans are roasted and bagged immediately which makes our coffee the absolute freshest it can be.

Founder and owner, Alex Cadang, is a native Hawaiian and a retired educator. He has been involved with agriculture most of his life, from livestock to other local Hawaiian products including coffee and macadamia nuts. Mauka Morning is his passion and he now farms coffee fulltime. We are proud to be a smaller independent Kona coffee farm with strong roots within our community.

His children were born and raised in the Islands and grew up farming alongside their dad. They take pride in their father’s knowledge of agriculture and know firsthand that only the "red" cherries are handpicked. To accomplish this requires three or four separate rounds, but by doing so guarantees that Mauka Morning is only produced from the perfect bean.
